The audience hears the unique voice of each vessel ‘singing’ through the notes of a key developed directly from the naturally occurring resonant frequency of the vessel itself.
The audience are invited to enter an acoustic sculpture designed for an immersive sound experience in conversation with the history of the Roman Castrum in Ovidiu, Romania. The sculpture frames the surrounding ruins and uses natural soundscape and contemporary electronic composition to enhance the influence of the past upon the present, and the reflection of the present into the past.
